Shopian, Nov 12 : Shopian Police on Wednesday carried out searches at several locations across the district, targeting the residences of Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) activists.

According to official sources as per news agency JKNS, the searches included the homes of Dr. Hameed Fayaz of Nadigam, Mohammad Yousuf Falahie of Chitragam, and others.

Authorities said the operation is ongoing, and further details are expected to be released after the completion of the searches.
