SRINAGAR, NOVEMBER 22: An IDE Boot camp for principals and teachers of PM Shri schools was organized by the Department of School Education and Literacy in collaboration with Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC), AICTE, CBSE and NCERT at Kashmir College of Engineering and Technology (KCET) Narabal, Srinagar.
The camp was virtually inaugurated by Dr. Abhay Jere, Vice-Chairman AICTE, while Prof. Khurshid Ahmad Bhat, Dean College Development Council was chief guest at the event.
More than 200 delegates from various PM Shri schools of the UT are participating in the Boot camp.
Resource personnel for the programme were Dr. Irfana Rashid and Dr. Aashiq Hussain.
The camp was virtually addressed by Vice Chairman AICTE, Director NCERT and CBSE. They stressed on the participants to inculcate a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship among the students.
Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell from AICTE headquarters, Prof. Indrani Bhaduri, Head – PARAKH, NCERT and Dr. Biswajit Saha Director (Skill Education & Training), CBSE also attended the event.
The camp was also attended by the representative of Samagra Sakisha, Director School Education; Tasadaq Hussain, Vikas Verma, Managing Editor of the Ministry of Education’s cell and Vibham Bharat Singh Vyas, a startup fellow at the Ministry’s Innovation Cell.
It is worth mentioning that the camp is being held to implant the vision 2047 of Prime Minister to see that India becomes a country that adopts a corporate and Startup culture instead of being service oriented country.
The camp will run for two days where the eminent scholars and resource personnel will take the floor.
