Jammu, Sep 22: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Sunday said residents of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir are our brothers and we wish to merge that part with India.

Addressing a public rally as part of election campaign, Singh said people of PoK want to merge with the Union of India as they are impressed with the transformation taking place in Jammu and Kashmir and the development in India.

We are open to embracing PoK people with open arms and allowing them to lead a dignified life, he said.

Attacking Pakistan, Singh said Pakistan is rearing snakes and trading in them will always have bad consequences.

“Pakistan has reached such a state because rearing snakes and trading in them always has bad consequences,” Rajnath said addressing a public rally in Rajouri on Sunday.

He said Pakistan’s business of exporting terrorism has now slowed down and will be completely eradicated from the soil of Jammu and Kashmir.

He said Pakistan Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, from across the border, along with the National Conference-Congress alliance is demanding the revocation of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.

Leaders living in India should only do the politics of their own country not become the proxy of Pakistan in these elections”, the Defence Minister asserted.

He said why again and again such issues of a broken INDIA alliance are being raised by those who are coming from the Pakistan…what is the need. These are the people who raised questions on Pulwama incident, surgical strike and air strike and asked for the evidence. The same questions are coming from the Pakistan…why it happens…They also raised the issue of Galwan in Ladakh Union Territory,” he questioned.

“It is evident that the National Conference-people’s Democratic Party and Congress are trying to run Pakistan agenda in Jammu and Kashmir”, Rajnath said.

“I want to tell all across the border that India will not allow the Pakistani agenda on the soil of Jammu and Kashmir now”, Rajnath asserted.

The People have sacrificed a lot and the terrorism has ruined numberless families. I have come here as a Defence Minister to tell you to build a new Jammu and Kashmir and for that BJP is fully prepared to make a new Jammu and Kashmir. No force on earth can stop Jammu and Kashmir from moving ahead.

“Pakistan has become an international brand ambassador of the poorest and worst in the world. They cannot look after their own country but are always interfering in the internal affairs of India”, he said.

“Pakistan is bowing for the bailout Package of 7 billion US Dollars from the International Monitoring Fund. The Package Pakistan is asking for from the IMF, Government of India has sanctioned ten times more to Jammu and Kashmir under the PM Package fund”, he said.

“Pakistan has reached the begging spot because one who is breeding snakes and doing their business meeting such a fate”, the Defence Minister said.

He said “the Pakistani terrorism export is on the brink of ending and I, the Defence Minister of India, assure you that the terrorism from the soil of Jammu and Kashmir will be eradicated”.
