Srinagar, Aug 8: In a major fire incident, a saw mill was gutted in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district causing damage to huge property on Thursday, officials said.

Fire and Emergency service officials said that fire broke out at 8.30 am in a huge saw mill at Khanabal causing extensive damage to the wood and other material.

The fire tenders were pressed into service from various stations of the district to control the leaping flames.

However, no one was injured in the incident, the officials said and added the cause of fire is being ascertained.
