Srinagar, Oct 26 : Amid a recent surge in attacks, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said on Saturday that security forces would avenge every drop of innocent blood lost.

We are committed to effective, continuous, coordinated, and sustained action against terrorists and their support structures in Jammu and Kashmir,” Sinha said while addressing the passing-out parade of 629 recruits at the Border Security Force (BSF) Subsidiary Training Centre in Humhama, Budgam.
Without directly naming Pakistan, Sinha remarked that India has an neighboring country that has fueled terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir since Independence.
Despite facing severe internal challenges, this neighboring country continues to send terrorists and narcotics across the border,” Sinha added. “In recent weeks, numerous terrorist attacks have targeted our brave soldiers, civilians, infrastructure workers, and migrant laborers. Every drop of blood will be avenged, and this message has been conveyed clearly.”
Sinha stressed that the ultimate goal is to eradicate terrorism so that every citizen can achieve their dreams and aspirations.
“In creating such an environment, the Border Security Force has always played a crucial role, and I am confident that you will continue to fulfill this responsibility with full dedication,” he noted.
He also outlined the importance of utilizing every resource through a “whole of government approach” to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem.
The Lieutenant Governor highlighted the joint efforts of the BSF, Army, Police, and other agencies in fortifying the anti-terror grid.
“In order to stop this infiltration, a comprehensive strategy has been made. The Border Security Force has played a very important role in all these operations. Just as you have worked with full dexterity and courage to meet the needs of the past, similarly, you will all have to be determined to protect the future interests of the future and move forward in the future,“ he added .
Sinha further urged the BSF to recognize that the dangers to border security are no longer conventional.
With arms and drugs being smuggled through drones by neighboring countries, we must enhance our capabilities to intercept these threats effectively. Soldiers require continuous training to tackle evolving challenges. Drug smuggling, which is eroding society, is now the largest source of terror financing,” he said.
