Jammu, Oct 14: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President Ravinder Raina on Monday asked newly elected party legislators to selflessly serve the people.
In a maiden meeting of its newly elected MLAs, Raina felicitated them here at the party headquarters in the presence of senior functionaries.
Raina mentioned that the party is grateful to the voters of Jammu and Kashmir who made the party win the highest number of votes in the recently concluded Assembly polls in Jammu and Kashmir.
“BJP is indebted to the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have reposed their faith in the Bharatiya Janata Party driven by the strong nationalist principles and the working culture initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, said Raina.
“MLAs, who are chosen by the people in this Assembly, will leave no stone unturned to serve the nation, region, society, and the people”, insisted Ravinder Raina, while felicitating the newly elected MLAs at the party headquarters.
Ravinder Raina further said that the Bharatiya Janata Party is committed to serving the people 365 days a year and stated that every MLA of the party will remain available to serve the needy persons at their beck and call.
He also asked the MLAs to contribute to the development of the region along with their own Assembly Constituencies, adding that the welfare schemes of the Modi government should reach the doorsteps of the poor and the needy through their channels. He asked them to selflessly serve the people fulfilling their role as the people’s representatives.
