Jammu, Jan 10: Two brothers were killed when a truck rolled down into a deep gorge in Ramban district of Jammu and Kashmir.

Police here on Friday said that one truck loaded with iron bars on its way from Jammu toward Srinagar met with an accident when it reached Battery Chashma late on Thursday night.

The driver failed to control the rashly driven vehicle, and it rolled down into a 500 to 700 feet deep gorge.

Two persons identified as Yasir Imtyaz and Danish, both sons of Imtyaz Ahmed Khan, residents of Chaji Hama, District Baramulla, died on the spot.

A case has been registered in this regard, said police.
