Trump asks Iran to stop charging fees from tankers passing through Hormuz Strait

New Delhi, Apr 10: US President Donald Trump asked Iran on Friday to stop charging fees from tankers going through the Strait of Hormuz.
”There are reports that Iran is charging fees to tankers going through the Hormuz Strait — They better not be and, if they are, they better stop now,” President Trump warned.
He said Iran is doing a ”very poor job, dishonourable some would say,” of allowing Oil to go through the Strait of Hormuz.
”That is not the agreement we have,” Trump said in on his social media platform.
He did not specify.
Coming down heavily on The Wall Street Journal, Trump described it as ”one of the worst and most inaccurate Editorial Boards in the World” for having stated that he (Trump) had declared ”premature victory” in Iran.
”Actually, it is a Victory, and there’s nothing premature about it,” he added.
He claimed it was because of him that ”Iran will never have a nuclear weapon”.
”Very quickly, you’ll see Oil start flowing, with or without the help of Iran and, to me, it makes no difference, either way,” he said.
Trump said The Wall Street Journal will, as usual, ”live to eat their words.” He said they are always quick to criticize, but never to admit when they’re wrong, which is most of the time.
