One Dead, 5 Injured In Separate Road Mishaps Along Jammu-Srinagar NH

SRINAGAR, Jul 15: One person died while five others injured including two Amarnath pilgrims after their vehicles met with an accident in two separate incidents along Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, officials said on Tuesday.
The officials said that one person died while three others injured after a car they were travelling in collided with a crane working inside Banihal-Qazigund-Navyug Tunnel. The car was on way to Kashmir from Banihal, officials said.
The officials identified the dead as Tariq Ahmad, son of Abdul Aziz Wani, resident of Harbair, Kaskoot Banihl. He was employee of Health department.
However the injured have been shifted to sub-district hospital Banihal for treatment.
