J&K DGP reviews security scenario in Doda, Kishtwar districts

Jammu, July 18: Jammu and Kashmir Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat has reviewed the security, law and order, anti-terror operations, and administrative readiness in the twin districts of Doda and Kishtwar during his visit to Bhaderwah town.
He was received by DIG DKR Range, Shridhar Patil, along with the SSP Doda, SSP Kishtwar, and other senior officers of CAPF and army.
A police spokesman here today said that a detailed review meeting was held to assess deployment for Yatra’s and anti-terrorist operations.
The DGP lauded the efforts of civil and police administration in ensuring peaceful Yatra’s till now and emphasised intelligence grid strengthening, focused attention on successful conduct of operations, and welfare of police personnel.
The main thrust was on the elimination of the existing as well as new groups of terrorists who are hiding on the higher reaches of these districts as well as smashing the overground structure of the anti-national elements.
