INDIA bloc’s daydream will be shattered on June 4: PM

Motihari (Bihar), May 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday predicted that the opposition INDIA bloc’s daydreams about coming to power and all their ill intentions will be shattered on June 4, when the Lok Sabha elections results would be declared.

Addressing a public meeting here in favour of NDA candidates, the PM said June 4 will prove to be a big jolt for the opposition bloc. “It will come as a big blow to their sinister designs” as the INDIA bloc is dividing the society on communal lines, pursuing appeasement policy, changing the Constitution and snatching reservation from OBCs and giving it to Muslims, he added.

PM Modi said that INDIA bloc had patronised the ‘tukde tukde’ gang (divisive forces), hell bent on dividing the country on communal lines. It was a well known fact that Congress and other constituents of INDIA bloc, had ill intention of snatching reservation from the OBCs and giving the same to Muslims, he pointed out.

Modi said that leaders of Congress and its allies were deep into corruption and had no concern for the poor. In its long rule of 60 years in the country, Congress had never cared for the poor, instead the party leaders engineered one scam after another, he alleged.

The prime minister said that huge cash was being recovered from leaders of Congress and its allies. People have seen mountain of currency notes in their houses recovered during raids, he pointed out. They had not ever bothered about poor and done nothing for them during their tenures in power, he remarked.

Modi said that there was no school for poor but sons and daughters of Congress leaders were being sent abroad for studies. No toilet was available in houses of poor, and women were forced to respond to nature’s call in open fields, he said.

Modi said the opposition’s morale has been demolished completely during the first five phases of Lok Sabha elections, sensing their crushing defeat. They were all set for similar outcome in the remaining two phases of Lok Sabha elections, he added.

Making an oblique reference to RJD chief Lalu Prasad, Modi said that lands of poor were snatched in lieu of services in Railways. He also made veiled attack at Tejashwi Yadav, saying someone was planning to ensure bed rest for him. Modi said, in his opinion, all in the country should have happy and healthy life and there should not be need of bed rest for anyone.

Prime Minister said that Congress and its allies have insulted the sentiments of people by rejecting invitation to attend consecration ceremony of Ram lalla in Ayodhya temple.

He exhorted the people to extend their support to NDA candidates in ongoing Lok Sabha elections.
