India is poised to become world’s third largest economy under Modi regime : Nadda

Bhagalpur, April 24: Making an fervent appeal to people to extend their profuse support to NDA candidates in the ongoing Lok Sabha election , BJP president J P Nadda on Wednesday said India is poised to become the third largest economy in the world under the Narendra Modi headed government.

Nadda, while addressing a public meeting here in support of JD(U) candidate Ajay Mandal from Bhagalpur Lok Sabha seat, said that there was a drastic change in all sectors in the last ten years of Narendra Modi government. Marked improvement was visible in Railways, Roads, Information Technology, Education, Health and Defence sectors, he added.

“Mindset of the people has also witnessed a positive changes as they are now thinking for development and not on caste lines as has been the case earlier”, the senior BJP leader said, adding that INDIA bloc leaders were only fanning casteism and promoting dynastic politics. They were also deeply submerged under corruption , he alleged.

Nadda said that a large number of senior leaders of INDIA bloc were either in jail or on bail. People had lost all hopes from them and they had faith only in leadership of NDA, he pointed out.

“India was the 11th largest economy in the world five years back but it is 5th largest economy now and all set to become 3rd largest economy in the world under Narendra Modi regime if voted to power”, the BJP President said and made fervent appeal to people to extend their support to NDA candidate for a nation moving on path to become a developed economy.

It was time for the people to choose a strong and stable government, he observed.

Nadda while talking about Bihar, said that NDA government led by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had worked hard since coming to power in 2005. There was significant development in all sectors including power and roads in the state, he further said adding that quality of roads had improved while electricity connection had also been given to every household in the state.
