KPDCL Puts Under Suspension 15 Employees Under Rule-33 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules

Srinagar, Mar 23: Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (KPDCL) on Saturday put under suspension fifteen employees with immediate effect Under Rule 33 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

Among the suspended employees include; Abdul Rahim, Lineman, Sub-division Nishat of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Ghulam Hassan Bhat, Meter Reader, Sub-division Nishat of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Mohammad Akbar, Lineman/Helper, Sub-division Dalgate of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Ghulam Qadir, Section Incharge/Helper, Sub-division Dalgate of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Fayaz Ahmad Khan, Line Sub-division Sopore-I, of Electric Division Sopore of KPDCL; Ghulam Ahmad Ganie, Lineman, Sub-division Nishat of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Aijaz Ahmad Gojri, Lineman, Sub-division Sheikh Bagh of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Shahnawaz Akhter, Meter-reader, Sub-division Budgam of Electric Division Budgam of KPDCL; Mohammad Ramzan, Lineman, Sub-division Budgam of Electric Division Budgam of KPDCL; Mohammad Afzal, Section Incharge/M.R, of Sub-division Kangan of Electric Division Ganderbal of KPDCL; Giyas-ud-Din, Lineman, Sub-division Kangan, of Electric Division Ganderbal of KPDCL; Lateef Jara, Lineman, Sub-division Kangan of Electric Division Ganderbal of KPDCL; Azad Ahmad Malik, Lineman, Sub-division Nishat, of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Sunny Bhat, Technician-III, of Sub-division Dalgate of Electric Division-I of KPDCL; Bashir Ahmad Dar and Lineman Sub-division Nishat, of Electric Division-I of KPDCL.

The suspended officers, as per separate orders copies available with GNS, shall remain attached with the respective Executive Engineer till further orders.

Pertinent to mention here that the fresh suspensions have come days after the J/KPDCL suspended twelve engineers invoking the Rule-33 of J&K Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

Notably, the Rule-33 is related to ‘poor revenue collection’. (GNS)
