New Delhi, January 19: On the occasion of the Raising Day of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday paid heartfelt tribute to the men and women whose professionalism and dedication stand firm during moments of crisis.

Taking to the social media platform X, the Prime Minister wrote,
“On the Raising Day of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), we salute the men and women whose professionalism and commitment shine through in times of crisis. Whenever disaster strikes, NDRF personnel work tirelessly to protect lives, provide relief, and emerge as a beacon of hope.”

The Prime Minister further said that the skills, discipline, and sense of duty displayed by NDRF personnel reflect the highest standards of public service.
He added,
“Over the years, the NDRF has emerged as a benchmark in disaster preparedness and response, earning widespread respect at the international level.”

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also extended greetings on the occasion. In a post on X, he said,
“On the Raising Day of the NDRF, we salute the courage, professionalism, and dedication of the National Disaster Response Force. Always prepared during crises, the NDRF’s swift response and selfless service have saved countless lives across the country.”

He added that through its commitment and expertise, the NDRF continues to play a vital role in strengthening India’s disaster management capabilities.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also conveyed his greetings to the force through a post on X, saying,
“Warm greetings to NDRF personnel on their Raising Day. By playing a crucial role in realizing the Modi government’s commitment to building a disaster-resilient India, the NDRF has today emerged as a pillar of trust.”
