Wayanad, Apr 19: BJP National President JP Nadda has said that Rahul Gandhi is contesting from Wayanad in Kerala because he knows that he will lose if he contests in his constituency Amethi in Uttar Pradesh in this Lok Sabha election.

Addressing a roadshow in Sulthan Bathery as part of electioneering for BJP State President and NDA candidate K Surendran, Nadda alleged that Rahul Gandhi’s politics is without a proper stance. He said ” Rahul Gandhi is a leader who does not have the confidence to contest in his constituency at Ameti. Rahul Gandhi’s alliance with the anti-nationals, the banned Popular Front of India (PFI) , Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), is because he has no faith in the people of the nation.

Nadda said the incumbent Wayanad Parliamentary MP Rahul Gandhi is not talking about anything related to the country. He said, “Rahul Gandhi is under investigation in the National Herald Corruption case, that is why he was protecting the corrupt people and implementing family politics, and his hallmark is appeasing politics”.

Rahul Gandhi is fighting against NDA with CPI leader D. Raja as an INDI bloc partner in New Delhi. Ridiculously, Raja’s wife Annie Raja is contesting against Rahul in Wayanad as Left Democratic Front (LDF) candidate. This proves that Rahul Gandhi has no political stance.

Nadda claimed that ” the lotus will bloom from Wayanad to strengthen the progress of the country. India is now the fifth power in Narendra Modi’s ten-year rule.

This time it will make India the third power in the world and ensure the development of the country.

The central government is running an administration that keeps the poor, farmers, women, and youth together. Mothers were given free gas connection through Ujjwala Yojana. 10 lakh people in Kerala got drinking water through the Jal Jeevan Mission. Crores of toilets were built through Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. Saving habits have been made for women through Jan Dhan accounts.

He said, four crore houses were constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the nation, out of these two lakh houses were built in Kerala. JP Nadda also said that through the Ayushman Bharat scheme, health insurance of Rs 5 lakh has been ensured for the poor people.

NDA candidate K. Surendran said after the Wayanad elections, Rahul Gandhi will file his nomination papers in Amethi. Saying that Wayanad is his home, Rahul will again make Amethi his home after April 26. K. Surendran said that the people will teach a lesson to Rahul Gandhi who has not contributed anything towards the development of Wayanad in last five years.

J P Nadda arrived in Wayanad at 1130 hrs and held a road show at Sulthan Bathery from 1200 hrs to1330 hrs. Thousands of people from all walks of life thronged both sides of the road from Assumption junction to Chungham in Sulthan Bathery. Ex-BJP State President Kumanam Rajasekharan and BJP district leaders also attended the roadshow in a specially arranged open vehicle.

Later, Nadda is scheduled to attend a public meeting at Kulappully in Palakkad district and a meeting at Thiruvananthapuram in the evening.
