Initiative aimed at strengthening CSC ecosystem & enabling efficient delivery of Aadhaar-enabled services to rural population
SRINAGAR JANUARY 10: Deputy Commissioner (DC) Srinagar, Akshay Labroo, today distributed CSC Biometric Kits and Micro ATMs among Krishi Udhiyamis of Kisan Khidmat Ghars of the district under HADP in a function held here at Conference Hall of the DC Office Complex aimed to promote digital inclusion and enable seamless delivery of government services, financial transactions, and farmer welfare schemes at the village level.
The event was attended by Additional District Development Commissioner, Chief Planning Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, District Agriculture Officer, Assistant Director Fisheries, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, District Sericulture Officer, District Programme Officer NRLM and other concerned.
Speaking on the occasion, the DC underscored that the initiative would empower Krishi Udhiyams of Srinagar district and significantly improve accessibility to digital and financial services for farmers. He emphasized the importance of digital inclusion and doorstep delivery of citizen-centric services in the district.
The DC added that the distribution of biometric kits and micro ATMs will strengthen the Common Services Centre (CSC) ecosystem enabling Krishi Udhiyamis to provide Aadhaar- based services, banking facilities, and various government services to the public in an efficient and transparent manner.
The DC further highlighted that the initiative would enhance financial inclusion, promote transparency, generate self-employment opportunities and improve access to essential services for farmers and the general public.
